Mathematics Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Mathematical Sciences  Department. 

  • Complete at least 18 credit hours of MATH coursework, including MATH 201  

  • Complete at least 12 credit hours numbered MATH 201  or higher.

  • Cannot apply 12 credit hours to another minor in the Mathematical Sciences  Department.

  • Complete at least 3 credit hours at the 300/400 level

  • Complete courses with grades of C or better.

University Undergraduate Minor Policies


Salisbury University minors require:

  • The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
  • At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
  • At least nine credits must be earned at SU.
