University Undergraduate Minor Policies
Salisbury University minors require:
- The completion of at least 18 credits with grades of C or better.
- At least 15 credits applied toward the minor must be coursework that is not used to satisfy General Education requirements.
- At least 9 credits must be earned at SU.

Suggested Sequence
- The calculus sequence (MATH 201 /MATH 160 , MATH 202 , MATH 310 ) should be completed in consecutive semesters starting as soon as possible. MATH 201 is preferred over MATH 160 .
- The financial math course (MATH 215 ) can be taken in any spring semester following completion of the first calculus course.
- The mathematical statistics course (MATH 413 ) should be attempted after completing the calculus sequence or concurrently with MATH 310 .
- The actuarial and financial models course (MATH 415 ) can be taken in any spring semester following completion of the mathematical statistics course (MATH 413 ) and the financial math course(MATH 215 ).
