Nonprofit Leadership Minor

Advisement for the minor is available from the Fulton School of Liberal Arts  

The nonprofit leadership minor is an interdisciplinary program to prepare future leaders of the nonprofit sector, as well as professionals in related fields such as social work, public policy and community development, and/or graduate study in nonprofit management.

  • Only one course may be used to satisfy General Education requirements and at least three courses must be completed at SU.
  • All courses applied toward the minor must be completed with grades of C or better.

Experiential/Internship Area Course


Students must enroll in an internship course involving at least 120 hours with a nonprofit or government organization. Students may complete their internship in a nonprofit through their major with permission of minor coordinator.

Complete Internship Course (3-4 Credits) - 120 Hours Minimum
