BIOL 565 - Advanced Cell Biology

Advanced course exploring the biology, physiology and biochemistry of plant and animal cells. Topics include detailed examinations of organelle function, cell movement, protein turnover, cell adhesion, apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, and the cellular and molecular basis of cancer. Lectures are drawn principally from the latest primary and secondary literature.
Three hours per week.
