ENGL 555 - Graduate Fiction Workshop 3 Hour(s) Credit An intensive examination of advanced literary craft and its editorial practices. Focusing on narrative fiction, read works of contemporary fiction in order to explore the micro and macro mechanics of the genre. Engage in weekly workshops and provide significant and meaningful feedback on the work of classmates. Produce and revise new original work, culminating in a final portfolio of publishable manuscript(s) to send to literary journals. Three hours per week Prerequisites Acceptance into M.A. English Program May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits Fall Only
