ENGL 557 - Graduate Poetry Workshop

An intensive focus on high-level craft concerns and editorial practices. Read monograph books of poetry in order to explore craft choices on micro and macro levels. Engage in weekly workshops and provide significant and meaningful feedback on the work of classmates. Produce and revise new original work with intention of building publishable manuscripts. Produce a final chapbook that will be titled and ordered with intention.

Prerequisites Acceptance into the M.A. English Program
May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits
