Introduction to drugs and their mechanisms of action. Integrates chemical, biochemical and biological concepts for the analysis of various classes of pharmaceuticals, from administration to excretion. Emphasis is placed on the interaction of drugs with important biomolecules at the nanoscale. Includes a practical introduction to computer-assisted drug design.
