ECON 212 - Principles of Macroeconomics


3 Hour(s) Credit
Explore the overall behavior of the economy as a whole, focusing on how the actions of all the individuals and firms in the economy interact to produce a particular economy-wide level of economic performance. Apply quantitative reasoning to the big economic picture of human experience, including economic growth, recessions, unemployment and inflation. In addition to understanding macroeconomic issues, learn how effective monetary / fiscal / financial policies help resolve the problems and improve macroeconomic performances. Develop capabilities in critical thinking, quantitative reasoning and effective communications, enhancing ones sense of responsibility for emerging and enduring global issues, culture awareness and ethical reasoning.
